Is Misuse powers just a couple of day?

Islamabad( city reporter) Faisalabad continue to manipulate rules and misuse powers just a couple of days before the expiry of his tenure. In clear violations of the rules and instructions given by the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab, he has called meeting of the selection board on Monday, 22nd of July, 2024 while his tenure is going to expire the very next day, i. e. July 23, 2024. Apparently, he has called the meeting of the selection board in order to accommodate his blue-eyed faculty members in the university. Meanwhile, he is also trying to get his tenure extended for the third time as hee has already completed two terms of four years each (total eight years). His both terms remained a period of worst kind of nepotism, maladminstration, abuse of powers, corruption, and bad governance. He extended undue favors to a handful of people of his close circles and denied rights including the right to promotion to scores of faculty members especially working on BPS. Over the years, he bulldozed and manipulated laws, and abused powers based on personal liking. Since last 8 years, Dr. Tanveer Hussain has been changing, twisting and manipulating laws based on king’s will, and his cabinet have been a strong comforter to him. Latest example being, conduction of selection board just one day before his end of tenure which is against clear ruling of higher education pakistan, but yet, as he thinks he is non touchable so he is doing what he wishes. Another classic case is the advertisement of a post with due date of 29th july, which appears to be after his tenure, but he is doing as his cabinet is backing him up. Similarly another corruption case by visiting Korea for 10 days with his blue-eyed ( even not related to textile) on government funding for Pak _ Korea Technical Textile centre using his power. The faculty members of the university have demanded the provincial government and the governor Punjab, also the chancellor of the university, to take notice of the situation and stop the Rector from doing illegal acts.
