Islamabad (City Reporter) Private and public sector collaboration is indispensable to keep the light of public health facilities lit, we all can bring the light of treatment to common citizens. These views were expressed by former provincial health minister Dr. Jamal. Nasir while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Dr. Mehdi Heart Center in Sector E-11-2, Islamabad. The chief guest said that Gold Medalist Dr. Raja Mehdi Hasan, a cardiologist with national fame, accepted the people’s demand by taking constructive steps. Dr. Mehdi’s family is leading in the service of humanity. God willing, the citizens of twin cities will benefit from this Heart Center. Malik Shahzad, Liaquat Gondal, Akram Baraq, Atiq Janjua, Raja Mahmood Shawkat, Raja Mazhar Hussain, Hafiz were present at the opening ceremony. City elders and medical experts including Toqeer Abbasi and Dr. Basharat participated. Administrator Heart Center Dr. M. Aoun Ali Mehdi said that his mission is to promote public health, God willing, he will be active with his team. Host CEO Dr. Raja Mehdi Hasan said that in a developing country like Pakistan. Education and health facilities have always remained a problem. Thankfully, the nation has good medical centers and philanthropic doctors.
