Neelam (NNP) Azad Kashmir Government Advisor for Services and General Administration, Ms. Nisara Abbasi, paid a visit to the District Headquarters Hospital Neelam, where she inspected various departments and inquired about patient welfare. During her visit, Ms. Abbasi listened to the issues faced by both the hospital administration and patients, assuring them of government action to resolve these problems.
The Medical Superintendent, Dr. Muhammad Sajjad, along with other hospital staff, welcomed Ms. Abbasi upon her arrival. In her address, she commended the hospital’s efforts to provide excellent service despite staff shortages. She highlighted that the need for additional staff and resources has been communicated to the government to further enhance the hospital’s capabilities.
Ms. Abbasi emphasized the significance of Neelam as the largest district in Azad Kashmir, characterized by its challenging hilly terrain. She reiterated the government’s commitment to improving health facilities in the region, stating that the hospital’s needs will be brought to the Prime Minister’s attention, with all necessary resources allocated to address these issues.
Following her hospital visit, Ms. Abbasi visited the office of Deputy Commissioner Neelum, Raja Arif Mehmood, to discuss district problems. She instructed the district administration to address tourist concerns promptly, especially with the onset of the tourism season. She stressed the importance of the administration’s collaboration with the tourism police to enhance tourist facilities and resolve complaints swiftly.
Ms. Abbasi’s visit underscores the government’s focus on improving healthcare and tourism infrastructure in Azad Kashmir, aligning with its broader goals for regional development.
