Gold and Silver prices slide across global and Pakistani markets

Gold prices moved lower on Saturday in both international and domestic markets, following a decline in the global bullion rate. Internationally, gold shed $20 per ounce, bringing its price down to $4,299, which had a direct impact on local prices in Pakistan.

In the domestic bullion market, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs2,000 per tola to Rs452,262. Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,715, settling at Rs387,741.

Silver prices also followed a downward trend. The per tola price of silver declined by Rs220 to Rs6,464, while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs189 to Rs5,541.
