Rawalpindi (NNP) Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) in Islamabad celebrated the inauguration of the Online Internship Program (OIP) 2024 in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the All-Pakistan Women Universities Consortium. This significant event marks the commencement of the program’s fourth anniversary, symbolizing the enduring commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Pakistan.
In her address, Professor Dr. Uzaira Rafique, the Vice-Chancellor of FJWU, emphasized the transformative impact of the OIP in empowering women and fostering cross-cultural understanding. She highlighted the importance of initiatives like the OIP in shaping future leaders dedicated to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Dr. Surriya Choudhary, who spearheaded the event in collaboration with the Indonesian embassy, concluded the ceremony with a vote of thanks. She emphasized that through collaborative efforts such as the OIP, FJWU reaffirms its dedication to nurturing strong bonds between Indonesia and Pakistan, thus paving the way for a brighter future for generations to come.
