Expression of Concern over the Sudden Disappearance of Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir Chaudhry, Immediate Recovery Demanded

Islamabad (NNP) Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has expressed deep concern over the sudden disappearance of renowned pediatrician Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir Chaudhry, calling on the authorities to ensure his immediate recovery.

In a joint statement on Friday, PIMA Central President Dr. Abdul Aziz Memon and General Secretary Dr. Iftikhar Burney stated that on the afternoon of May 29, Dr. Muhammad Tahir was taken away by some unknown individuals from his clinic in Rawalpindi, and there has been no information about him till now. They said that this incident has caused a wave of distress within the medical community, leaving doctors and healthcare workers deeply worried.

They added that Dr. Muhammad Tahir is a well-known pediatrician in the country and heads the Pediatrics Department at a local medical college. He is highly regarded among doctors and patients alike for his excellent behavior and conduct. The sudden disappearance of such a personality is extremely disturbing and alarming.

PIMA officials have demanded the immediate recovery of Dr. Muhammad Tahir Chaudhry and the provision of complete protection for doctors and their families.
