Ethiopia–Pakistan Ties Set to Deepen as Ethiopian Official Calls on Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan

Islamabad: An Ethiopian official paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan, Additional Secretary (Africa) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan, on Tuesday afternoon.

During the meeting, both sides held a substantive and forward-looking discussion on enhancing institutional cooperation to further strengthen bilateral relations in the fields of politics, economy, and culture.

The Ethiopian side reiterated that Ethiopia attaches great importance to its partnership with Pakistan and highlighted the vast potential to expand cooperation under Pakistan’s “Look Africa” and “Engage Africa” initiatives.

Both parties expressed their commitment to working closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan, to explore new avenues for bilateral and multilateral collaboration, aimed at achieving shared growth and long-term mutual success.
