MARDAN: A high level meeting was held On Thursday at the DPO office chaired by District Police Officer Mardan, Zahoor Babar Afridi,Divisional SPs, SDPOs and SHOs from all the police stations participated.The meeting reviewed the law and order, crime situation and police performance across the district.DPO Mardan directed all the officers to ensure the arrest of all advertising accused in the next seven days.
He said that prizes will be given to the officers on excellent performance while strict action will be taken on poor performance or negligence.
DPO Mardan Zahoor Babar Afridi said that strict and fruitful measures are essential to clear Mardan from crime.Unilateral action will be taken against drug dealers, thieves, robberies and other criminals.At the same time, he made it clear that a false case against an innocent citizen would be unacceptable.
The SHOs were instructed to provide better facilities to the people in their police stations so that the confidence of the people was established, treated with good morals and making the police station a public friendly institution. They were also instructed to prepare new lists of criminals and suspicious elements in their areas so that timely action is possible.
