ISLAMABAD (NNP) Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zabi met Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad today.
The Federal Minister appreciated the vision and efforts of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces for the development and transformation of the UAE.
Talking to the distinguished guest, the Defense Minister highlighted the importance of brotherly relations between the two countries and appreciated the similarity in views of the two countries regarding important regional and international issues.
While expressing satisfaction over the existing cooperation, it was mutually agreed that there is scope for further increase in defense cooperation.
