Chairperson KZK Ms. Khadija Zareen Khan Advocates Kashmiri Right to Self-Determination in Special Message on January 5

Muzaffarabad:Ms.Khadija Zareen Khan, Chairperson of the KZK Foundation, stated that the purpose of commemorating the right to self-determination on January 5 is to remind the United Nations of resolutions promising Kashmiris the right to self-determination. She emphasized that it is the fundamental right of the Kashmiri people, and their stance on the Kashmir issue is clear. Ms. Khadija Zareen Khan urged that Kashmiris should be granted their birthright and internationally recognized right to self-determination in light of current circumstances. In her special message on Self-Determination Day, she highlighted that millions of innocent Kashmiris, including women and children, were martyred by occupying Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir, asserting an unwavering commitment to not compromise on anything less than Kashmiri freedom. She criticized the Indian government for fostering fear and tension in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir through continuous illegal and unilateral actions. Ms. Khadija Zareen Khan called on the United Nations and international organizations to free Kashmiri leadership from Indian oppression and allow media and human rights organizations to operate freely in Occupied Kashmir. She further emphasized that the international community, the United Nations, and international human rights organizations should reject Indian actions on Kashmir, playing a role in securing Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. She stressed the urgent need for unity to convey a strong message to the enemy, emphasizing the responsibility to alleviate the pain and suffering of the people in Occupied Kashmir as a national, religious, and human duty, working together with the Pakistan Army. Ms. Khadija Zareen Khan declared the determination of the Kashmiri people to persist in their struggle for the security, integrity, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan until success is achieved.
