Centrum Air to Launch Direct Tashkent–Lahore Flights from April

Uzbekistan’s leading private airline, Centrum Air, has announced the launch of direct flights to Pakistan, further strengthening air connectivity between the two countries. Starting in April, the airline will begin operating non-stop flights between Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent, and Pakistan’s second-largest city, Lahore, with services scheduled twice a week.The move comes amid a steady rise in air travel between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Currently, Uzbekistan Airways operates four weekly flights on the Tashkent–Islamabad and Tashkent–Lahore routes, which have already served more than 30,000 passengers. In 2025 alone, nearly 19,000 Pakistani tourists visited Uzbekistan, benefiting from improved flight connectivity.The introduction of new direct flights by Centrum Air is expected to boost bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation, while also promoting exchanges in tourism, education, science, culture, and humanitarian ties.Founded in 2023, Centrum Air operates a growing fleet of 14 aircraft and continues to expand its regional and international network.
