Manoj Pahwa is playing a pivotal role in the Aryan Khan’s web series. He recently opened up about working with Aryan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Veteran actor Manoj Pahwa, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Josh, is also part of Aryan Khan’s upcoming web series. Manoj is playing a pivotal role in Aryan’s show and in an interview to Hindi Rush, Manoj, joined by his actor-filmmaker wife Seema, had lovely things to say about the father-son duo.
“Aryan doesn’t have any starry airs. He is a young and hardworking boy. The process of filming this series was quite long, but it was definitely fun,” said Manoj, who refused to divulge anything about the series, except that it was based on the film industry.
When asked about the similarities he has observed between Shah Rukh and Aryan, Manoj pointed out that both are quite similar in their working style. “I know Shah Rukh works 18-20 hours a day if required. He is a workaholic, and I have seen Aryan work in a similar fashion too,” said the Mulk actor, who waxed eloquently on how Shah Rukh ensures people around him feel loved and respected. “He is Khan Sahab today because he has what it takes to be the Khan Sahab (King Khan). If you are working with him, or even if you are just standing in front of him, Shah Rukh will respect and love you with all his heart.”
Furthermore, Manoj specifically pointed out Shah Rukh’s respect and benevolence towards his guests. “He will make you feel like you have known him forever. If you go to his office, he will come and drop you to the gate. I believe Aryan is similar on this front. He takes care of everyone,” said Manoj, who also revealed that Shah Rukh came on the sets of Aryan’s directorial debut, and chipped in with his expertise, talent, and of course, benevolence. “Whenever he came on to the sets, he enquired about our well-being, and wanted to know if we were well taken care of by the production. In fact, during the filming of the climax, which was happening on a very expansive scale with 2-3 units, he started to take a few shots too.”
