Islamabad:The four members of the Election Commission of Pakistan have expressed confidence in the Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja. According to the press release issued by the ECP, the Election Commission takes all decisions jointly, keeping in mind the legal requirements and mutual consultation. It has been assured that all the decisions so far have been made through mutual consultation.

The spokesperson of the Election Commission says that the quota of seats of all the districts was also decided by the Election Commission with mutual consent and legal requirements, the constituency committees did the initial constituencies and then after objections were filed, the commission made decisions on them. The objections about Hafizabad were also decided by a 5-member bench in full harmony.

It is being told that the Election Commission has also directed to provide a level playing field to all the political parties in the general elections 2024. An order should be made to ensure execution.

Apart from this, a ban has also been imposed on the leave of the Election Commission staff and the transfer posting of government employees. Ban on holidays has also been imposed, Election Commission sources have said that the transfer and posting of government employees in the provinces and the federation has also been banned. A complete ban has been imposed on transfer, under which there will be a complete ban on all types of transfer and posting in government and government institutions, however, for any emergency transfer or posting, the matter will be sent to the Election Commission along with the reasons for the posting and transfer.
