MARDAN:All Employees Association (AEA), Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan (AWKUM), has announced a strike by leaving the wheel and pen until the demands are approved.

The final decision was taken today in the meeting of All Employees Association not to negotiate further until the demands are approved.

Addressing the ongoing protest in Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan for two months, Chairman Muzamil Khan, President Adnan Saeed, General Secretary Inam Afridi, Senior Vice President Jawad Sanger, Media Incharge Ali Khan, Focal Person Umair Ali Shah, Vice President Abid Ali, Mumtaz Khan, Pappu Khan and Ajmal Shah while addressing said that protest will continue until the demands are accepted. Cheating and wasting time in the name of further negotiations will not be tolerated.

Media in-charge Ali Khan while speaking said that our peaceful protest has been going on for the last two months but the officials are evasive with various pretexts.The ministerial staff who do not cooperate during the protest will be subjected to social boycott. President of All Employees Association Adnan Saeed said that the university administration should accept our problems and demands seriously and our peaceful protest will continue until the demands are not accepted.
