Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Employees Association Postpones Protest Pending Vice Chancellor Appointment

MARDAN: All Employees Association Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan(AWKUM) here on Saturday has announced to postpone the protest till the appointment of Vice Chancellor.In Abdulwali Khan University, Mardan, continuous protest continued for more than two months.Chairman Muzamil Khan, President Adnan Saeed, General Secretary Inam Afridi, Senior Vice President Jawad Sanger, Media Incharge Ali Khan, Focal Person Umeer Ali Shah, Vice President Abid Ali, Ashfaq Habib, Mumtaz Khan, Papo Khan and Ajmal Shah while speaking said that the appointment of Vice Chancellor and Pro-Chancellor has not been done yet and we have decided to postpone the strike due to the semester exams and new admissions next week.

President of All Employees Association Adnan Saeed while addressing said that the university administration should accept our problems and demands seriously.Currently, we announce to postpone the protest until the appointment of the Vice Chancellor and the Provice Chancellor. The semester exams are starting from next week and the admissions have been announced, so for the development and prosperity of the university, we have decided to postpone the strike.From tomorrow, transport will run as normal and classes and exams will also continue as normal
