Neem Partners with TPL Life to Accelerate Digital Transformation in Insurance Sector

KARACHI – Neem, one of Pakistan’s leading embedded finance platforms, has announced a strategic partnership with TPL Life Insurance, a digital-first insurer catering to over one million customers across the country. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in Neem’s mission to modernize Pakistan’s insurance landscape through embedded financial infrastructure.

Building on a recently announced partnership, this latest initiative aims to digitise the entire insurance value chain—ranging from premium collection to claims disbursement—using Neem’s low-code, compliant, and scalable payment and wallet systems.

“This partnership with TPL Life is a continuation of what we’ve set out to do—build the financial rails for insurance in Pakistan,” said Shehrez Bawany, Head of Partnerships at Neem. “Together, we’re delivering on our promise to help insurers modernise rapidly, and there’s more to come.”

Two-Phase Rollout to Enhance Digital Insurance Experience

The collaboration will see TPL Life implement a two-phase embedded finance solution developed by Neem, aimed at enhancing both operational agility and customer convenience.

Phase 1 – Seamless Premium Collection

In the first phase, Neem’s Payment Button will be integrated into TPL Life’s digital platforms, allowing policyholders to pay premiums through a variety of channels including debit/credit cards, bank transfers, mobile wallets, and 1Bill. Additionally, TPL’s internal teams will gain access to real-time insights and reporting through the Neem Business Portal.

“At TPL Life, we’re committed to creating seamless, efficient digital experiences for our customers,” said Saad Nissar, CEO of TPL Life. “Our partnership with Neem enables us to deliver modern, transparent payment journeys—embedded directly into how we serve our policyholders.”

Phase 2 – Wallet-Based Claims and Engagement

The second phase will introduce white-labeled wallet infrastructure enabling TPL Life to offer:

  • Instant digital claims disbursement;

  • Wallet-based purchases directly through TPL platforms;

  • Multi-channel fund top-ups;

  • Loyalty and rewards integration for deeper customer engagement.

This next-generation approach is expected to significantly improve the customer journey while enhancing innovation across the policy lifecycle.

Shaping the Future of Insurance Delivery in Pakistan

By partnering with two of the country’s prominent insurers—EFU Life and now TPL Life—Neem is positioning itself as a pivotal infrastructure partner in Pakistan’s insurance ecosystem. The company is actively working to build an embedded, digitally-driven insurance experience that improves access, efficiency, and financial wellbeing nationwide.

“This is just the beginning,” noted Neem in a statement. “We are committed to creating a robust ecosystem through ongoing partnerships with insurers, helping shape a transparent and accessible insurance environment across Pakistan.”
