Attock (Razi Khan) Pakistan and Turkey continue to strengthen their historic bond of friendship and brotherhood, as demonstrated in a recent humanitarian event in Attock. The event, organized by Dararqam School Attock Campus under the leadership of Director Nadeem Anjum Abbasi, witnessed the distribution of ration packages among the deserving people and educational supplies for orphans. The initiative was made possible through the generosity of Turkey’s Diyanet Waqf, reflecting the deep-rooted ties between the two nations.
The chief guest, Abdul Rahman Aks, Religious Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad, emphasized the unwavering support Turkey has always extended to Pakistan on international platforms, including the United Nations. He reiterated Turkey’s consistent backing of Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and its assistance during challenging times. He also highlighted the contribution of Turkish educational institutions in Pakistan as a testament to the countries’ strong relationship.
During the event, Turkish guests personally handed over ration packages and educational materials, including bags, books, and copies, to orphaned children, reinforcing Turkey’s commitment to humanitarian aid and education in Pakistan. The occasion was also addressed by former Principal of Government Pilot School, Sheikh Asif Mahmood Siddiqui, and Ahmed Musa, spokesperson for the Turkish government.
Director Nadeem Anjum Abbasi, while speaking at the event, expressed gratitude for Turkey’s goodwill and assured that the distribution of aid had been carried out transparently after a thorough verification process. He emphasized that the initiative aimed to assist the truly deserving, in line with the Turkish government’s commitment to supporting Pakistan.
Sheikh Asif Mahmood Siddiqui praised the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Turkey, acknowledging Turkey’s consistent generosity, particularly during the holy month. He lauded the Turkish government for its unwavering support during natural disasters and crises in Pakistan.
The event saw the participation of notable dignitaries, education experts, faculty members of Arqam School, Turkish volunteers, and people from various walks of life. Attendees expressed profound appreciation for the Turkish government’s assistance, reaffirming that such initiatives further strengthen the historical and brotherly ties between the two nations.
