Islamabad (NNP) Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Kharl, the former Director General of the Federal Education System and Principal of Islamabad College for Students G63, has retired after an illustrious career spanning nearly thirty-five years. Renowned for his dedication to the teaching profession, often considered a prophetic calling, Dr. Kharl executed his duties with unparalleled passion and excellence.
Dr. Kharl’s tenure was marked by his constructive thinking, strong ideology, and keen perception, which propelled his institution to a position of prominence. His sincere and cheerful demeanor, whether as the head of an institution or the federal education system, earned him high commendation. His tireless work ethic ensured continuous progress and development.
A product of Government High School 135 Ten-R, Dr. Kharl completed his intermediate and undergraduate studies at Government College Multan. He then earned his Master’s degree in English from Bahauddin Zakaria University, Multan, followed by a Doctorate from Nimal University, Islamabad. His academic prowess is evidenced by eighteen research papers published nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kharl’s professional journey began in 1989 when he joined the Federal Government College of Commerce as an English lecturer. His merit and dedication saw him pass the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) examination for Assistant Professor in 2001, and subsequently the Associate Professor examination in 2002.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kharl excelled in both teaching and administrative roles. As Director General of the Federal Education System in Islamabad, he spearheaded the upgrading of various facilities, earning widespread praise for his outstanding performance.
