Islamabad (NNP) In a recent meeting at the Parliament House, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the significance of bolstering existing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar. The meeting with Ambassador of Qatar, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater, underscored the mutual commitment to expanding parliamentary cooperation and deepening socio-economic relations.

Speaker Sadiq highlighted Pakistan’s profound appreciation for its historic brotherly relations with Qatar, expressing a keen desire to elevate them to new heights. Emphasizing the role of parliamentary diplomacy, he asserted its importance in nurturing closer ties between nations already bound by religious and historic connections.

The activation of the Pak-Qatar friendship group within the National Assembly of Pakistan signifies a concerted effort to bridge the gap between the legislatures and citizens of both countries. Additionally, the invitation extended to the Speaker of the Shura Council of the State of Qatar further underscores the commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
