Riyadh ( NNP ) The Islamic Development Bank assured to complete the ongoing projects in Pakistan soon. According to the details, the President of the Islamic Development Bank, Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasir, met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the special session of the World Economic Forum, where the progress of the various projects of the Islamic Development Bank in Pakistan was reviewed. He thanked the Islamic Development Bank for investing one billion US dollars in various projects on behalf of the Islamic Development Bank in the government.
It has been reported that in the meeting, the Prime Minister appreciated the assistance of the Islamic Development Bank in the rehabilitation of Pakistan after the flood and recognized the personal support and leadership role of Dr. Al Jasir in this regard. There was a discussion regarding finding opportunities, in the meeting between Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and President Islamic Development Bank, it was also agreed to complete the ongoing projects in Pakistan soon.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Islamic Development Bank’s useful partnership with Pakistan is proving to be helpful in achieving the goals of sustainable development of the government, along with providing assistance in reconstruction and employment. The Special Investment Facilitation Council is fully operational to streamline operations and address all concerns of foreign investors and provide one-window operations.
President Islamic Development Bank Dr. Al Jasir said that Pakistan is a founding member of Islamic Development Bank and is a very important member. It has been learned that Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Petroleum Mossadegh Malik, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Federal Minister for Power Owais Ahmed Khan Leghari were also present in the meeting.
