Attock (NNP) A man who allegedly kidnapped and molested a 3 years old minor boy in Attock few days ago in Attock was killed during a ‘shootout with police’ during the early hours of Thursday.
However, the police spokesperson claimed that the suspect was killed by accomplices during an exchange of fire. According to the spokesperson, Saeed Muhammad- an Afghan national has reported to Attock city Police on April 15 that his 3 years old son identified as Abu Bakkar was playing outside his house when unknown person has abducted him. Police get some images of the man through CCTVs installed outside the commercial and residential buildings however, the suspect has abandoned the boy in the outskirts of the city after police intensified checking on exit points of the city. Later police took the minor in to custody and during medical examination, he was detected that the minor was molested. Police registered an abduction and assault case against unknown person and launched haunt of the suspect through the CCTV images. The spokesman said that through human and digital intelligence it was detected that the suspect name is Qadeer Ahmed- a native of Dhoke Kodda who was present with his accompany behind orphanage of the city. The spokesman has said that subsequently a police party raided to arrest the suspect. The spokesman has said observing the police party, the suspect opened firing to escape, however it was retaliated. The spokesman has claimed that during the shootout, the suspect was shot dead by this companion who managed to escape from the scene successfully, the police said. Later, the body was shifted to the district headquarters hospital for an autopsy.
