Dollar Strengthens Against Rupee in Interbank Market, Weakens in Open Market

Karachi ( NNP ) The dollar became more expensive compared to the rupee on Friday, while the value of the dollar fell in the open market.

According to the report of the Forex Association of Pakistan, on Friday, an increase in the value of the dollar against the rupee was recorded by 15 paisa in the interbank market, which increased the value of the dollar to 278.30 rupees from 278.15 rupees, while the dollar depreciated by 14 paise in the open market. The value decreased from 280.41 rupees to 280.27 rupees. According to the forex report, the value of the euro decreased by 1.43 rupees, which reduced the value of the euro from 301.90 rupees to 300.47 rupees. Similarly, the value of the British pound decreased by 45 paise to 352 rupees. It decreased by Rs.34 to Rs.351.89.
