KP CM extends Easter greetings to Christian Community 

PESHAWAR (NNP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has extended Easter greetings to the Christian community residing in the province, especially on the occasion of their religious festival Easter.

In a special message issued from here, he said that the provincial government is a partner in the happiness of the Christian community.

In his message, he also said that all minorities in Pakistan have equal rights as citizens, our religion Islam teaches us to give equal rights to minorities, and our constitution guarantees them the freedom to practice their religious rituals, customs, and festivals.

The welfare, prosperity, life, and property, and constitutional rights of the minority community residing in the province are included in the priorities of the present provincial government, and steps will be taken on priority basis to ensure this on a preferential basis.

The Chief Minister further said that the Christian community has played a full role in the development and progress of the country, which the whole nation appreciates.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the current national and international situation demands that interfaith harmony be promoted at all levels.
