The Chief Justice of Pakistan, recalling the alarming situation in 2021 where journalists faced harassment and torture, emphasized the need for accountability, stating that those responsible for such actions must be held accountable. This commitment from the FIA reflects a step forward in protecting press freedom and ensuring the safety of journalists in Pakistan.
