Muzaffarabad (PID) dated 27th February 2024:Member of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and Chairman of the Prime Minister Inspection and Implementation Commission, Maulana Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, has stated that forests are our valuable assets, and we will go to great lengths to protect them. The protection of both widely planted nurseries and natural forests in the state is the responsibility of the government. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir has pledged to restore Beldran. Earlier, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Inspection and Import Commission made recommendations to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir for the restoration of Beldarans/guards in response to demands from areas like Neelam, Dawarian, and Mandkaro. During this event, he emphasized the crucial role of Beldarans/guards in plantation efforts. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir has assured to address the issues surrounding Beldarans by reconsidering their leave, with the government committing to resolve the matter promptly after review.
