Actress Yamini Zaidi, who rose to fame with Geo’s blockbuster drama serial ‘Tere Bin’, will release her debut film ‘Nayab – Naam Yaad Rakhna’ today.
Various videos are going viral on the photo and video sharing platform from the grand premiere ceremony held in Karachi yesterday. Artists from the showbiz industry participated in the event and gave the ceremony four moons.
yamina Zaidi is playing the role of a female cricketer in her debut film. The story of the film revolves around a female cricketer who has to face difficulties to get included in the national team. The film is presented by Rumeena Umair and Umair Irfani.
The screenplay of the film is written by Ali Abbas Naqvi and Basit Naqvi.
The cast of the film includes actors Javed Sheikh, Adnan Siddiqui, Muhammad Fawad Khan, Usman Khan, Ehteshamuddin, Faryal Mahmood, Umm Hani Taha and others.Two hours into the film, one is left questioning when Nayab will face the beast (India). The pay-off is weak, yet again, and surprisingly rushed. However, by the time it rolls around, one is washed over by a wave of gratitude. As the film meanders to its triumphant and predictable conclusion, one only wishes that the road for the journey was better constructed. Perhaps, the uneven streets of Karachi have a role to play here too.
