Dignified Ceremony Held in Mardan to Honor Polio Workers; Certificates of Excellence Awarded

Mardan: In recognition of the tireless efforts of polio workers striving day and night for the complete eradication of polio, a dignified ceremony was organized under the auspices of the Supreme Star Arbaz Khan Fan Club, Mardan. The event was held at the EPI Training Hall, TB Hospital, Mardan.
Certificates of Excellence were awarded to polio workers who demonstrated outstanding performance in the field. The ceremony was jointly presided over by Area Coordinator Dr. Rizwan Anwar and District Polio Officer Dr. Muhammad Junaid, who paid rich tribute to the dedication, commitment, and sacrifices of polio workers. They emphasized that field staff are the backbone of the national polio eradication campaign and that the success of this mission would not be possible without their relentless efforts.During the ceremony, certificates were distributed among workers serving in TPO, PDA, and TUSP. The award recipients included Arshad, Ameer Mufti, Bilal Khattak, Yaseen Khan, Bakhtiar, Muhammad Junaid, Somi Iftikhar, Samina Begum, Sapna Begum, Ayesha Begum, Misbah Begum, Shiraz Khan, Ikhtiar Ali, Tayyab Shah, Owais Mahmood, Abdus Salam, Niaz Muhammad, and Muhammad Ayaz.The event was moderated by Arshad. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the founder and chairman of the organization, Wajid Ali Izhar, thanked all participants and announced that during the upcoming polio campaign starting from February 2, Certificates of Excellence will also be awarded to polio workers of mobile teams securing first, second, and third positions across 79 union councils of Mardan district in recognition of their exceptional performance.
