Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Attends “Journey of Culture” Exhibition as Chief Guest

Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan, attended the inaugural ceremony of the cultural exhibition titled “Journey of Culture” as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that providing dignified and meaningful platforms to women artisans is an urgent need of the time.The exhibition was organized by Digital Nexus, in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), and in partnership with K2 Channel. Congratulating the organizers on the successful arrangement of the exhibition, the Deputy Chairman Senate said that “Journey of Culture” is not merely an exhibition but a living representation of Pakistan’s cultural identity, social awareness, and rich heritage. He noted that at a time when society needs positive narratives, creative opportunities, and respectable platforms, such initiatives serve as a shining example.He also appreciated the role of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), stating that it is a positive and welcome tradition that PNCA is performing outside Islamabad for the first time. In the past, people used to travel from distant areas to Islamabad to witness cultural activities, but today, the culture of Islamabad itself has reached the people, truly reflecting cultural harmony.The Deputy Chairman Senate further praised K2 Channel and other partners for their collaboration, highlighting their important role in conveying this positive message of culture, women empowerment, and creativity to wider audiences.Concluding his address, Syedal Khan expressed hope that “Journey of Culture” would not remain limited to a single exhibition but would evolve into a movement, providing greater opportunities for artists, skilled women, and youth, and carrying Pakistan’s cultural identity forward with renewed energy.At the end of the ceremony, he once again congratulated all organizers, partners, and participating women, and extended his best wishes for the continued success of their efforts.
