SHANGLA (NNP) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader and former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai has secured Rs3 million in funding for the long-delayed construction of a link road from Tauheedabad to Ajoori in Shangla.

The project, previously stalled due to administrative hurdles, is expected to benefit thousands of residents and boost tourism in the area. Locals expressed gratitude to Yousafzai and the PTI leadership for reviving the development initiative.

According to party representatives, the link road had earlier been shifted from its original alignment due to administrative errors and local negligence, which had caused frustration among the community. Yousafzai’s intervention led to the restoration of the project and approval of the required funds.

Residents and PTI workers hailed the move as a positive step toward addressing long-standing local needs. PTI leaders reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing further development projects and ensuring continued fund allocation for Shangla.
