Teachers Trained to Transform Classrooms Under Khadija Zareen Khan’s Impact 20 Initiative

Islamabad: Khadija Zareen Khan Montessori School organized a teacher-training workshop under its Impact 20 initiative, aimed at enhancing classroom performance, improving management skills, and promoting active learning among teachers from low-cost schools.

The workshop, held in collaboration with Beaconhouse Potohar Campus KG & LP, was led by PDSI Saba Kamran and Instructional Coach Anam Yasir on the theme “Active Learning and Classroom Management Skills.” The training emphasized interactive methods to replace traditional rote learning with student-centered approaches.

Addressing the participants, CEO Mrs. Khadija Zareen Khan said that empowering teachers is the most effective way to reform education. “Teachers are the architects of our nation’s future. When we equip them with modern skills and confidence, we transform generations,” she stated.

The event reflected the Impact 20 initiative’s goal to bridge the gap between well-resourced and low-cost schools through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Teachers were introduced to practical strategies for improving classroom engagement, discipline, and creativity.

At the conclusion of the session, participants received certificates of appreciation for their active participation. Educationists praised Mrs. Khadija Zareen Khan’s leadership, calling the initiative “a model for teacher empowerment and community development.”
