Living in a country who just achieved the age of 78 years “Pakistan” its safety and wellbeing are crucial for all citizens, its safety landscape is complexed with various challenges, like terrorism, crime, traffic safety, natural disasters and above all this new “DAJJALI FITTNA” LGBTQ+ community. The intersection of LGBTQ identity and Islam is a complex area with diverse interpretations and experiences. Its revealed since beginning, as per Fatawa 57 declares that “sexual orientation to the same sex is a disorder that must be cured….homosexuals are banned (HARAM) and is a form of crime.” Homosexual’s perpetrator’s both Lesbians and Gays including bisexual are subject to HUDDUD and or ta’zir punishment” but all cited above is about the transgenders not those who are naturally birth as recognised in Islam as “MUKHANNATHUN”. Transgender’s identity is recognised in Islam particularly through the historical existence of mukhannathun in early Islamic society and modern hijra communities in south Asia. With some Islamic scholars and countries granting varying degrees of acceptance and affirming gender-affirming care. The Quran and Hadith do not condemn these MUKHANNATHUN, as the creation of Allah.
· Mukhannathun : As understood in classical Islamic texts, a mukhannathun was typically a biological male with innate effeminate mannerisms, speech, and behaviour. The key theological point is that this was considered a natural, God-given state (fitrah). They did not necessarily identify as women; their gender expression was feminine, but their gender identity might still have been male. They were often exempted from certain gender-specific rules because their behaviour was seen as involuntary. Their acceptance was conditional and often limited to specific social roles.
· Transgender Identity: This is fundamentally about an internal, deeply held sense of self (gender identity) that does not align with the sex assigned at birth. A transgender woman is a woman; a transgender man is a man. This modern understanding focuses on identity, not just expression. For many, medical transition (gender-affirming care) is a means of aligning their physical body with their internal identity.
The core difference: Mukhannathun is primarily about gender expression (how one acts) that was seen as natural and innate. Transgender is primarily about gender identity (who one is) and may involve medical steps to transition, which some Islamic scholars argue constitutes “changing Allah’s creation.”
A landmark law, the Transgenders Persons Protection of Rights Act of 2018, offered legal recognition and protection to transgenders but its implementation has been hindered by a temporary halt by Federal Sharia Court and a rise in religiously motivated opposition and hate campaigns. In Islamic Republic of Pakistan all these seitan activities should be banned rather legislature assembly approved the legislation against the Islamic law and order. This law provided a crucial step forwarded by legally recognise term “TRANSGENDER “including intersex individuals and those with gender identities different from social, moral and above all Islamic laws and norms. Here is not only the concept of changing of creation of ALLAH but also spreading on wide level earthiness and wickedness in an Islamic country. Allah said in Quran Para 4 Verse 119 that “it is forbidden to change one’s gender, as it is seen as altering Allah ‘s creation.”
In Pakistan, homosexual activists are rising surreptitiously underground. They conducted their events not only separately but on august 2025, in IBA Karachi and Lahore, are the major examples of open shows. These groups have secret relationships and contracts with international communities as well. It seems that with treacherous silence they are increasing and keeping excessive controversy against the new generation of Pakistan. Before happening the above, all nation of Pakistan has observed in 2023 the first ever so called “Pride Prade in Pakistan “. Apparently, it was just a celebration and milestone in the fight for acceptance. But fight against Islam, and Islamization is the worse part of it. In an Islamic Republic country how can we even accept it rather than we give them space to manage and celebrate their devilish and stannic concepts. I still remember the comment of one of parade fellow David that “The Government of Pakistan may have an opinion that in this country there is nothing like all above i.e. (Gays, Lesbians& Transgenders) or any kind of social activities. But we here are not only showing our existence but our celebration too. So far it is so unblemished that at some uppermost level of administration, they all got help and space to spread this stannic concept and devastated the Islam from grassroot level. We often have read that same sexual activities are illegal in Pakistan, but this is not in practical shape because our youth is going on wrong path. We being Nation are scattered in so many issues, but I believe among all of that like electricity shortage/gas flood, rains cloud burst, loss to crops and what not, our youth is our priority, and we must not only focus on them but save them from these stannic community.
The UK’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development office identifies Pakistan as a priority country for advancing human rights globally including those of LGBTQ + individuals , while the Government of Pakistan opposes same sex relations, considering them against Islamic teaching , some countries and international organizations such as the UK, UNDP ,OHCHR, UNAIDS, UNESCO, the U.S. Agency for international Development , and the Government of Canada , are involved in promoting rights and support LGBTQ+ individuals in Pakistan through various initiatives and partnerships , often focusing on protecting transgender people ‘ s rights and combating discriminations and violence.
In mainstream Islamic thought, homosexuality is considered a sin (HARAM) based on interpretations of Quran particularly verse 7:80, and the sunnah. While the Quran describes a punishment for such acts in details. The Muslims consider homosexual relationships forbidden because the Quran states sex should only occur within a marriage between a man and a woman for the purpose of procreation. But I believe that as other things western countries want to destroy our family system our marriage sunnah. But it is next to impossible that would be happen. In Islam marriage is seen as lifelong, faithful partnership and a social contract to create a stable environment for family life a foundation that homosexual relationships do not fulfil.
We along with our government should effort for the better Pakistan. Government should strengthen law enforcement and intelligence agencies, to enhance and promote education and awareness, encourage community engagement and support social welfare initiatives. We should stand-up against stannic act as a nation and prove the that a Muslim can never accept stannic acts against Islam. May Allah protect our country ameen.
