Students from Fauji Foundation Education System presented tableaus & national songs with specific reference to the Defence& Martyrs Day

An elegant and illustrious ceremony to pay homage and tribute to the resilient nation and valiant Armed Forces on 60th Defence Day of Pakistan was organized by the Fauji Foundation at Foundation University Islamabad (FUI).

Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer Fauji Foundation Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Haider (Hilal-e-Imtiaz Military) (Retired) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Senior Management of Fauji Foundation, FUI, a large number of doctors, paramedics and students attended the ceremony.

Students from Fauji Foundation Education System presented tableaus & national songs with specific reference to the Defence& Martyrs Day. High-achieving students, children of Shuhadas, ex-servicemen, and employees with outstanding welfare contributions were awarded for outstanding performance.

The Chief Guest in his address applauded the unflinching resolve of the Armed Forces to defend Pakistan at any cost. The Managing Director reiterated the diverse role of Fauji Foundation as the largest self-sustained social welfare organization that withstands its welfare objectivity including families and wards of martyrs through a diverse and thriving portfolio of commercial companies and significantly contribute to Pakistan’s economy, industrial development, and the national exchequer through substantial corporate taxes.
