The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) came as a beacon of guidance for worlds” – Sheikh Abdul Waheed
President of the Traders Association Liaquat Road and political & social leader, Sheikh Abdul Waheed, said that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came as a guiding light for all of creation. “We would gladly sacrifice our lives for him,” he added. “His teachings are a beacon of guidance not only for Muslims but for all of humanity.”
Expressing his thoughts on the occasion of 12th Rabi al-Awwal, he said that Rabi al-Awwal is observed with deep devotion and respect in Pakistan and across the Muslim world. “On this blessed day, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born, and the world was illuminated with his presence.”
Sheikh Abdul Waheed further stated that on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was sent as a mercy to all mankind. He also highlighted that the Prophet’s migration (Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah took place during the same month. This historical event marked the beginning of the Islamic calendar and the transformation of Yasrab into Madinah.
He added that the Prophet’s teachings are a mirror of his noble life, and his every action is a path to guidance for us all. “We must adopt his Sunnah, especially by educating our children and youth about his life and teachings,” he emphasized.
Sheikh Abdul Waheed further stated that the justice and fairness of the Prophet (PBUH) are unparalleled. His blessed life is a shining path of guidance for those who have lost their way. “Even if we incorporate just one Sunnah into our lives, I believe it will lead us toward the right direction,” he said. “The noble character of the Prophet (PBUH) is a guiding light for all of us.”
