Eight Athletes Selected for Asian Bodybuilding Championship in Thailand after First National PSB Bodybuilding and Physique Championship in Islamabad

Islamabad, July 11, 2025: The first National PSB Bodybuilding and Physique Championship 2025, organized by the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation, concluded with great enthusiasm at the Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad. A total of 122 athletes from across the country participated in 23 competitive categories.

The championship featured contests in Senior, Junior, Masters, Athletic Physique, and Sports Physique divisions. A panel of expert judges from the World Bodybuilding Federation, the Asian Bodybuilding Federation, and provincial associations meticulously assessed the athletes’ performances.

At the end of the competition, eight outstanding athletes — Ejaz Ahmed, Firasat Ali, Mohsin Iqbal, Muhammad Shakeel, Bilal Ahmed, Usama Saeed, Haroon Rasheed, and Faizan Gul — were selected to represent Pakistan at the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025, scheduled to be held in Thailand later this year.

The event’s chief guest was Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation Secretary General Sohail Anwar. Also in attendance were Chairman of the PSB Organizing Committee Saeed Akhtar, committee members Nasrullah Rana, Farman Khan, Sohail Gil, and renowned nutritionist Dr. Nabeel.

Speaking on the occasion, Sohail Anwar expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Sports Board for their support in organizing the championship and the first Anti-Doping Awareness Seminar. He emphasized the federation’s commitment to promoting bodybuilding across the country through practical measures, adding, “Our performance will speak for itself.”
