ISLAMABAD (NNP) The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has officially appointed Khuram Shahzad, currently serving as Publication Officer, as its new Spokesman with immediate effect, according to a formal announcement by the PSB Director General.
In his expanded role, Shahzad will be responsible for all official communication with the media, issuance of press releases, public relations management, and representing PSB on relevant platforms, subject to the approval of the competent authority.
All departments and sections within the PSB have been instructed to extend full cooperation and support to Shahzad to ensure the smooth execution of his new responsibilities.
With a rich professional background spanning over 20 years in journalism and public relations, Shahzad brings considerable experience to the role. He has been affiliated with the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) since 2007 and has served in the media teams of several federal ministers.
Notably, he is the younger brother of the late senior journalist Javed Shahzad, further strengthening his ties to the country’s media fraternity.
