Pakistani Religious Leaders Vow Full Support for Iran Amid Israeli Aggression

Islamabad, June 19, 2028 — A high-level delegation led by Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, to express solidarity with Iran in light of recent Israeli hostilities.

The delegation included Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council; Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi; Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi; Hussain Ahmed Akhunzada, Coordinator of Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aaeen-e-Pakistan; Allama Hasnain Abbas Gardizi, President of MWM’s Ulema Wing; along with other prominent scholars and dignitaries.

The delegation offered condolences for those martyred in recent Israeli attacks and declared them as martyrs of Pakistan. A special prayer (Fateha) was held for the departed souls.

Speaking on the occasion, Senator Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri said, “Iran is not only fighting for itself but also for the greater Muslim Ummah and for Pakistan. The United States seeks to destabilize the region, but Iran’s strength ensures the region’s stability. If Israel is not stopped, its aggression will spread to every corner of the Muslim world.”

Jafri further added, “Israel does not abide by any international law. Except for Iran, no country has stood up to its barbarism. Supporting Iran at this time is not only necessary but an obligation. Israel’s repeated pleas for U.S. military support show that it is facing defeat. If the U.S. enters the war, it will suffer a major loss and the sun of American imperialism will begin to set.”

He reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan, including scholars and religious leaders of all sects, are united in their unwavering support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice if necessary.

Sahibzada Hamid Raza also delivered a strong message of unity and readiness, saying, “On behalf of the Sunni Ittehad Council, I pledge that if blood is to be shed in this struggle, we will be the first to step on Iranian soil to defend it. We fully stand with the Islamic Republic of Iran from the soil of Pakistan and will not allow Israel or the United States to achieve their goals.”

The meeting concluded with closing remarks from Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi and a collective prayer for the martyrs.
